The CIAT Accelerator program is held annually. With a unique acceleration progress, we partner with successful enterprises to accelerate startups. All successfully matched startups will receive exclusive guidance from Taiwan's leading enterprises during a 4-month long period, exploring collaboration opportunities and preparing to pitch in front of investors for Demo Day.
- Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) or startups developing technologies and solutions related to Cloud Computing, IoT, 5G, Industry 4.0, A.I
- Teams that have not yet established a company developing technologies and solutions in relevant areas may also apply
- Technologies and solutions presented shall not violate any legal provisions or contractual norms with legal effects.
- Functional prototypes with a well-thought-out business model
Exclusive Mentoring from Leading Enterprises:
- Entering large enterprise industrial value chain
- Adjusting strategies and business model
- Entering the international market by making use of large enterprise resources and channels
- Cooperating with leading international enterprises
(1) Application : March 19 (Wed.)- April 28 (Mon.)
Initial selection will be done in the form of written documents review. Participating teams are required to submit the following two written documents prior to the deadline:

(2) Initial selection: May 28 (Wed.)
Founders/partners/managers of the participating startups may be invited for brief interviews prior to the registration deadline in order for us to gain a better understanding of the team and the solution.
At the same time, after reviewing the proposal, corporate mentors will select teams to participate in the Demo Pitch.
The list of Demo Pitch will be announced on the CIAT Startup Incubation Program website.
(3) Demo Pitch : June 18 (Wed.)-June 19 (Thu.)
The teams that have passed the initial selection will be invited to pitch in front of representatives from participating enterprises.
After all teams have finished pitching, enterprises will select startups they wish to mentor during the program. The team is then required to select an enterprise as their mentor during the program.
(4) Program begins : July - October
Teams and enterprise mentors will focus on discovering collaboration possibilities and working on pilot projects to validate technical and business partnership potential.
At the end of the program, startups will undergo evaluation based on collaboration progress made with the enterprise mentors, and those with significant progress will be invited to pitch onstage on Demo Day. The list of startups who have made it to Demo Day will be announced on the Program website.
(5) Tech-Startup Japan Award Selection : August
Teams in the 13th CIAT Accelerator program will be eligible to apply for the Tech-Startup Japan Award. Two startups with the greatest potential in the Japanese market will be selected through a review process.
Winning teams will be recommended to participate in 'Cloud Computing Day Tokyo,' an international exhibition in Tokyo featuring leading Taiwanese and Japanese companies, and will receive a round-trip ticket to Japan. This provides them with a prime opportunity to showcase their solutions and engage in direct business exchange.
(6) Final Selection Team Announcement : September
Enterprise mentors will review startup collaboration for Demo Day eligibility. If a team is not selected to proceed to the Demo Day stage, their mentoring rights in the CIAT Accelerator program will be terminated.
(7) Demo Day : November
At the end of the program period, startups will be invited to pitch onstage in front of potential investors and partners, to demonstrate progress made with the enterprise mentors. Startups will have the opportunity to receive a letter of intent from renowned VCs.
